Our Story

A nod that hardly followed with a ‘hello’

It was 2011 when we knew one another from a Christian student fellowship in our campus.

Casual nod was done when we passed by each other, but we hardly made it into a conversation. Somehow, we managed to took this photograph together after Christmas celebration in 2013.

Jakarta vs Yogyakarta

Almost a decade later, Michael pursued his dream as an internal medicine resident in Yogyakarta. In the meantime, Audy also paved her career in Jakarta. Being apart didn’t deprive Audy to send birthday wishes to Michael on his birthdays. Lately, she knew that it hit different on him.

Many challenges marked our journey to know each other better. However, in the first month of 2023, a commitment to watch each other’s back was made. Well, distance means so little when someone means so much, they said.

Michael finally popped
the question

God’s timing is just perfect: not too early, nor too late. Feeling more confident about each other, we were engaged in front of our families that showered us with supports and prayers.

Looking forward to the future

We set our eyes to cherish moments of life together. Cheers to annoying one another throughout life!
